Preparing to Connect

In preperation of conecting to our high-speed network you will firstly need a suitable router or firewall device to distribute the connection throughout your tenancy.

  • Basic Setup: A modern ethernet router will provide reliable internet access for most users.
  • Enhanced Security (Highly Recommended): Installing a firewall with active security licensing is cyber security best practice and highly recommended for all organisations.

Connection Details

Each tenancy is provided with a high-speed, low-latency connection with the following details:

  • Speed: 100 Mbps Download / 100 Mbps Upload
  • Contention Ratio: 4:1 (Business-grade performance)
  • Service Availability: 99.95% Uptime Guarantee
  • Data Allowance: Unlimited
  • IP Address: Static Public IP Address
  • Connection Media: Ethernet Handoff inside the tenancy

In the event of a primary internet service outage, our backup service will automatically kick-in to ensure you remain connected and operational with a cntention ratio of 20:1.

Futhermore, if you are occupying more than one suite, we will combine the connection speed of each suite into a single mega connection!

Check Your Router Lights Look at your router – it should have lights on the front. These lights tell you if everything is working properly.

No Lights? Check Power If you don’t see any lights at all, your router might not be getting power. Make sure:

  • The power cable is plugged into the wall socket
  • The power cable is firmly connected to your router
  • Try a different power outlet

Got Power? Restart Your Router If the lights are on but something seems wrong:

  • Unplug your router from power
  • Wait 30 seconds
  • Plug it back in
  • Wait 2-3 minutes for it to fully start up

Check Your Connection Once your router is back online:

  • Look for your WiFi network on your device
  • Connect to it
  • Check if your device gets an IP address (this means it can talk to the internet)

Check the Internet Cable Make sure the cable from your internet provider (usually called WAN or internet cable) is:

  • Properly plugged into the correct socket on your router (usually labeled “WAN” or “Internet”)
  • Not loose or damaged

Think of it like checking if your car will start – first you check if it has power (lights), then you try starting it (reboot), then you check if everything is connected properly (cables and WiFi).
