Why we started TECHD Group

TECHD Group was founded in 2019 by two passionate IT professionals who shared a vision to provide tailored end-to-end technology solutions to SME’s.

Built on the belief that great IT should be reliable, straightforward and completely free of complexity, TECHD was created to be the kind of technology partner businesses can genuinely count on. A partner that understands their business, takes ownership of their problems and is as invested in the outcome as they are.

Today, TECHD Group’s team of passionate, skilled technicians support businesses of all sizes from our home base in Manly, Sydney – across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, US and the Philippines.

Two complementary skillsets. One shared vision. Ben and Charles lead TECHD Group with the same hands-on, client-first approach that drove them to start the business in the first place.

Benjamin Neighbour Managing Director

Ben brings over 12 years of IT industry experience across managed service providers and leading internal IT teams for private businesses. He also has a Master of Commerce majoring in Project Management and Marketing and a Bachelor of Science.

A highly driven, focused, and adaptable leader, Ben co-founded TECHD Group with a clear vision: to eliminate IT complexity and deliver real solutions for real businesses.

Charles Woodhead Director


Charles has over eight years’ worth of experience working alongside the executive team of a number of ASX 500 companies. This has given him an exceptional understanding of how businesses operate at the highest levels and what they need from their technology partners.

Detail-orientated and results-driven, Charles takes the time to understand each client’s unique operating requirements before delivering a solution. His focus is on creating satisfied customers and building lasting partnerships that help businesses genuinely thrive.
